I’ve finally fixed TunesTweeter and released version 0.5. Sorry it took so long. Unfortunately, it only works with iTunes now since Microsoft removed a bunch of things from Media Player. I hope to bring it back soon and add Winamp support as well.

Yes, it seems so. Its a shame that the author of Tunestweeter is not looking at releasing an update. It was a pretty cool app.

I believe the new Twitter has something to do with why it won’t work. You are probably right about the authentication. That’s unfortunate though! It doesn’t seem like Tunestweeter is updating any time soon.

Is there any way to save ID etc. so it automatically logs you in? I have been using TT for a while & that seems to be my only issue I have with the program.

I’m not sure about this. The application may be buggy, or trying to authenticate to a service/URL that isn’t present anymore. Try an updated version of the application to see if that works. It may be possible that twitter has changed their authentication mechanism and this application hasn’t been updated yet.

I have successfully downloaded this from your website and another before this and once downloaded I try and log into the application with my twitter account as requested and annoyingly it repeatedly tells my username or password is incorrect.

Is there a remedy to this or has this been common? This will spend an abrupt end to a product that could have done so well.
