CrapImissedIt tracks your favorite movies, TV shows and music

By Sharninder | Published: February 17, 2009

Crap I missed it LogoCrap, I missed it! is a notification service that can remind you by email of new movies, movies, tv shows and concerts happening around your town.

CrapImissedIt looks at Rotten Tomatoes’ Certified Fresh List for new movies and monitors Amazon’s bestseller list for new music and books.

The web app is pretty easy to use. Just pick the topic that you’re interested in monitoring and chose the item you’re interested in.

For example, if you’re interested in being notified whenever a new American Punk album hits the Amazon’s Best sellers list, go to Albums (By category), navigate down to the category you’re interested in and give the service your email address. Now, whenever a new American Punk album shows up on Amazon’s list, you’ll get an email from CrapImissedit.com.

Music

A good thing about the site is that when you’re interested in being notified about concerts by a particular band, the service even asks you your zip code. That way it makes sure that you only get notified when there is a concert taking place within 50 miles of your zip code.

Concerts

Crap, I missed it! is a free service and will sure come in handy when the holidays come around and all you want to do is watch TV and rent the latest movies.
