Resize images easily with Bulk Image Resizer

By Sharninder | Published: January 21, 2009

Bulk Image Resizer from Mariussoft is a free utility to quickly and easily convert multiple images at the same time. The utility supports the most popular image formats and the resized images are of good quality free from any distortions.

The application is pretty simple to use with just a few options. Chose the images that you want to resize, select the size you want to resize to, select a folder to keep the resized images in and click convert. That’s all.

You can either chose to keep the aspect ratio by specifying both the width and height for the resized image or skew the image by just specifying the width or the height.

In my limited tests, the output produced by the Bulk Image Resizer was pretty good and better than many similar tools that I’ve tested earlier. In fact, the screenshot above was also resized using the same tool.

I found a free online image resizer called QuickResizer Image Resizer. If you are away from your PC and don’t want to download any software, you can just use this online version for free. It’s quick and it’s easy to use.

You can also download their full version of QuickResizer image resizer if you want to resize multiple files in a folder with just a click of the mouse.

You can also use Phatch for Windows. Though this is originally a linux package. Also, installation in windows can be a pain sometimes.

I don’t have powertools installed myself. Looks like I should give it a try now though. Thanks for letting me know.
